It’s important to take care of problems with your vehicle right away. To make it easier for you to take care of your vehicle and to avoid problems, here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us today.

Why won't my car start?

The most common reason why a car will not start is a dead battery. However, there are several other possibilities too. If you are having trouble getting your vehicle started, give Pyle Automotive a call at (801) 467-7455. Our experienced auto repair technicians will quickly diagnose and fix the issue, so you can get you back on the road.

Why is my engine stalling after replacing my car battery?

If your car has completely lost battery power, it’s possible that your car’s computer system lost important information needed to regulate engine performance, causing it to stall even after replacing the battery. However, rest assured that the car’s system will quickly gather new data, and engine performance should soon return to normal. In some cases, it may be necessary to clean the throttle body or the idle air control valve to remove carbon deposits that can accumulate inside these parts, which could exceed the computer’s ability to regulate engine performance.

How do I change my keyless entry remote battery?
If you are having trouble changing the battery in your keyless entry remote, follow these steps:

1. Remove the metal blade key from the remote.
2. Use a standard flat head screwdriver to gently pry open the fob.
3. Take out the battery, typically a small round lithium watch battery.
4. Insert a new battery.
5. Snap the key fob back together.
6. Put the metal blade key back into the fob.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact Pyle Automotive for assistance.
