After-Hours Drop Off
We know that sometimes auto repair can’t wait until normal business hours. That’s why at Pyle Automotive, we offer after-hours drop off service for your convenience. If you need to leave your car at our shop even after we’ve closed for the day, simply fill out an envelope with your contact information and the keys to your vehicle, and drop it in our secure drop box. We will have our expert mechanics begin work on your vehicle as soon as we’re able, and we won’t bother you with phone calls until your car is ready for pick-up or if we need additional information to properly make the repairs. To help our mechanics diagnose your vehicle’s issues, we ask that you fill out a Drop-Off Form describing any problems you are having with your vehicle.

Most Extended Warranties Accepted
At Pyle Automotive, we know that having a quality warranty for your vehicle is important to you. Extended warranties, or service contracts as they are sometimes called, provide peace of mind and stability for the car owner. The extended warranty is effective when the manufacturer’s original warranty expires. They cover major malfunctions and distribute the repair costs more evenly. Not all auto repair shops will work with extended warranties. At Pyle Automotive, we accept most extended warranties and are happy to let you use your service contract to lessen the cost of auto repairs.

Trailer Hitches, Wiring, & Tires
A trailer, of course, doesn’t have an engine of its own, but that doesn’t mean it’s not in need of upkeep. One of the most important things to maintain on your trailer is the wiring that allows current to run to the brake lights and the other lights in the rear of the trailer. Our team of highly qualified and experienced electricians here at Pyle Automotive can take care of all of your trailer maintenance needs. Give us a call at (801) 467-7455 to set up an appointment. We look forward to giving you quality service that will keep your trailer in great condition.
Wheel Bearings
Wheel bearings are another important component in your vehicle that must be maintained. They are located inside your wheels, and they are what allow your wheels to spin freely, and they are also connected to the brake system. Wheel bearings can and will eventually wear out, and as this happens, you may notice symptoms such as a vibrating suspension and an abnormal rubbing sound as you drive. A complete failure of the wheel bearing is, of course, a very serious problem, and it could mean a complete loss of control of your vehicle. Wheel bearings will not all have the same replacement intervals. In fact, they can vary quite a bit. Because of this, it is a good idea to have them checked for leaks and wear regularly. Don’t worry, we will make sure that your wheel bearings are kept in the best condition at Pyle Automotive and we will not hesitate to let you know when a replacement is needed.

FAQs
Don’t ignore issues with your vehicle. To help you maintain your vehicle and prevent future problems, we’ve provided answers to some of our most frequently asked questions below. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, contact us today.
How often should I change my oil?
As a general rule, Pyle Automotive experts recommend that drivers change their oil every 3,000 to 7,000 miles or every three months. Your owner’s manual can provide the recommended oil change interval for your specific make and model. Keep your vehicle in tip-top shape by scheduling your oil change at Pyle Automotive.
How often should I check my fluid levels?
In addition to your engine oil, there are a number of other fluids that are essential to your vehicle’s health. Transmission fluid, brake fluid, engine coolant, and power-steering fluid are just a few examples. Weather can also play a role in the health of your fluids. Fluctuations in temperatures and how often you use your vehicle can impact their levels. In any case, experts recommend that you check your vehicle’s fluid levels regularly. Pyle Automotive recommends checking these levels during your oil change or at least monthly or every other month.
How often should I check my air filter?
There are typically two filters in a vehicle – one for the engine and one for the cabin. A dirty filter will reduce airflow and your engine’s ability to exhaust hot air. When it comes to changing your air filter, the frequency can vary. On average, though, many experts agree that a typical timeframe is about 30,000 miles.
How often should I change my brake pads?
Brake pads generally start to wear out somewhere around 20,000- to 30,000-miles. You may be able to tell your brake pads need changing by the high-pitched screeching or grinding noise when you brake. You will also need new pads if it takes longer than usual to stop completely when you hit the brakes.
How often should I change my battery?
The average battery life is three to five years, but extreme hot and cold temperatures can play a factor in that. However, it’s up to you, as a conscientious vehicle owner, to watch for warning signs that the battery is losing power. For example, if you notice your headlights and dashboard lights are dimming and your vehicle has issues starting, it’s probably time for a new battery.
