Starter & Ignition Repair in Salt Lake City

At Pyle Automotive, we understand the ins and outs of all types of engines and the unique challenges they present. If your vehicle struggles to start due to the heavy-duty engine compression ratio, the solution may be simpler than you think. Traditional OEM starters often fail to provide the speed needed to set your vehicle’s pistons in motion. Our recommendation? Consider the installation of a high-torque starter and ignition system. These systems are custom-built for high-performance engines, delivering the extra cranking power necessary to get your vehicle started.

Engines also tend to take up substantial space, leaving little room for traditional starters. High torque starters, in contrast, are compact and lightweight, providing increased ground, oil pan, and header clearance. Whether you’re starting your engine in the driveway or at the racetrack, ensure its reliability with a new high-amp battery and high-torque mini starter from Pyle Automotive.

For those restoring older muscle cars, we offer a range of services to maintain power flow. From state-of-the-art digital ignition controls to performance distributors and low-resistance ignition wires, we have what you need to rejuvenate your vehicle’s starter and ignition system. New wiring harnesses, distributor caps, rotors, and spark plugs are all available and can be expertly installed by our experienced mechanics. Visit our auto repair shop in Salt Lake City today to discuss your restoration needs.
